2019 FALL RECREATION SOCCER PROGRAM

 

UFA Soccer Association runs a recreation soccer program for children ages 3 (Pre-K) through 8th grade.  We are a volunteer run organization that uses the European Football Coaching organization as our primary trainers (https://www.europeanfootballcoaching.com), but all teams are volunteer parent coached. The intent is to provide a fun, competitive environment for kids who want to play soccer, stay close to home and learn the game. If you have any questions, please contact ufarecsoccer@gmail.com.

Registration Fees

Pre-K & K:  $130

1st-8th Grade: $150

Early Registration Discount (if registered by July 31th): $25

*New this year is a payment plan option to split registration fees into 3 payments ($75.00 down payment then 2 additional payments in Sept & Oct of equal split amount of remaining balance)*

Registration Notes

1: There is no need to include the players birth certificate or a photo when registering for the recreation soccer program. Please skip through these two screens as you register your player.

2: The system is setup for payment by eCheck, ACH or credit card. If you are unable to pay by these options, please complete the registration up to the payment screen and contact us for an alternate payment option.

3: If you would like to donate to the UFA Soccer Association, please include your donation amount within your registration. All donations made this fall will go toward scholarship funds to allow any family in a financial hardship the opportunity to still play this great game with us. Also, if you are in need of a scholarship, full or partial, or know a family that may need financial assistance please do not hesitate to let us know.

4: New for this year, we will be running recreation specific soccer coach training for all of our parent volunteers that are interested in helping coach our teams. We will send out more details in a few weeks but please let us know if you would like to volunteer.

Schedule

*Season will run from September 7 through November 16

**On Sept 7th, we will host the 2nd Annual UFA Soccer Opening Day Event, more details will be sent out in a few weeks.

***NO REC GAMES/TRAINING on Nov 8/9 (teacher’s convention weekend)

****We are developing a 4v4 Soccer Festival for all recreation age groups over the Nov 9/10 weekend for those who wish to sign up, more details will be sent out toward the end of the summer

*****If training gets rained out, we won’t be able to make it up because of when Thanksgiving falls on the calendar this year

******If games are rained out, we will work to schedule make up games during the week or play multiple games on a following weekend

 

Pre Kindergarten

Saturday: 9:00 to 10:00AM or 11:00AM to 12:00PM – Trains with European Football Club Trainers at Mark Harbourt fields – Ages: 3/4 year old

Kindergarten

Saturday: 10:15 to 11:30 am – Trains with European Football Club Trainers at Mark Harbourt fields for 45 minutes, divide into assigned teams and play 20 minute games on 4v4 fields.

 1st/2nd Grade

Trains with European Football Club Trainers at Byron Johnson fields on Friday nights. The final schedule will be released later this summer but initial plan is for 1st/2nd Grade Girls to train from 5:30 – 6:30PM and 1st / 2nd Grade Boys to train from 6:30 – 7:30PM. 

Players will be assigned to teams and play in games from 9:15 to 10:30AM on Saturdays in a local inter-town recreation soccer league. Games alternate weekly between Byron Johnson Park in Allentown and Community Park in Robbinsville.  Individual Team Coaches may call an additional practice once a week (expect Wednesday nights). In accordance with US Soccer guidelines (see website for more info on this), this age group will begin playing 4v4 games. This year we plan to work in more game play and transition to 7v7 play as the season progresses. More details on the league will be sent out later this summer.

3rd/4th Grade

Trains with European Football Club Trainers at Byron Johnson fields on Friday nights. The final schedule will be released later this summer but initial plan is for 3rd/4th Grade Girls to train from 5:30 – 6:30PM and 3rd/4th Grade Boys to train from 7:30 – 8:30PM.  Individual Team Coaches may call an additional practice once a week (expect Wednesday nights).

 5th/6th Grade
